Synthetic Gene Design Software
The popular Gene Composer™ software offered by Emerald BioSystems is a first in class database tool for the information-rich design of expression-optimized synthetic gene constructs. This SQL database software system is an effective protein engineering tool that allows users to design codon optimized synthetic gene constructs for improved protein expression and crystallization. The software also plans out the oligonucleotide building blocks needed to construct synthetic genes by PCR methods.
