Software Engineer C++/VB/C# (Robotics)
Software engineer to develop, maintain, test, and document software for multiple applications that drive robotic systems ranging from liquid handling robots to imaging workstations. The engineer is primarily responsible for completing software that drives OEM provided controllers for an imaging workstation as well as for a pump system that is a component of a liquid dispensing technology. The project also involves development of GUI and database components as well as developing experimental protocols and communication modules to drive hardware components.
The developer communicates with internal and external beta testers and other clients to integrate feedback into the development of the next generation software control. Responsibilities include communicating to OEM vendors regarding integration of the vendor’s product into Emerald BioSystems software applications. To perform the job successfully the candidate would have knowledge of ADO, ODBC, TSQL/PL SQL, VB, and C++. Knowledge of C# would be a plus.
