Database Application for Crystallization
Crystal Miner™ is an SQL relational database application for protein crystallization. All data and information relevant to protein crystallization trials, from the CAS numbers of all chemicals used in the crystallization screens to full-color digital images of the crystallization results, are captured and organized by Crystal Miner Running on Windows® and the industrial-strength Microsoft® SQL Server or Oracle® database engines, Crystal Miner ensures data security and scalability. At the same time, its intuitive interface and powerful ergonomic features including speech recognition data input, make it suitable for all levels of crystallization research, in addition to its database capabilities.
Crystal Miner is also the controlling interface to Emerald BioSystems' automation hardware, including the Matrix Maker and Crystal Monitor Workstation. Crystal Miner brings crystallization data management into the high-throughput age.
